Living in the Swiss Alps, Kiki Thompson gets inspired from the rocky outcrops and fluid forms that surround her.  Touching a wide variety of materials, she is most interested in the mind filling in what the eye can't see.

She studied sculpture at Anglia University in Cambridge, and stone carving in Colorado and Pietrasanta, Italy.  In 1991, she had the opportunity to work on Christo and Jeanne-Claude's Umbrellas Project in California.

After a brief sojourn as a professional snowboarder, Kiki returned to being a full-time sculptor.  Since then, she has had numerous large-scale and small-scale, public and private commissions and has exhibited in New York, London, Switzerland and New Zealand.
